Children's photographer Lisa Jane has
captured the magic of childhood through her lens for more than
25 years. A resident of Houston Texas, she grew up near
Corpus Christi and began taking pictures in high school.
After her college graduation, her father gave her a Hasselblad
camera and she never looked back.
Her unique and creative style has earned her
nearly every honor in professional photography. Her work
can be found in a variety of media from prints, posters and
greeting cards, to stationery and dolls.
At
Eden Studio, Lisa Jane has created an idyllic garden where
imagination takes flight and dreams become reality. A
serene lily pond invites you to a time of peace and reflection.
Wander through the lush grounds and discover an elaborate
gazebo, a secret playhouse, an enchanted castle and if you are
particularly fortunate, perhaps a glimpse of the resident
unicorn.
Lisa Jane's goal, she says is to "Capture a moment in the life
of one tiny soul and keep it forever in a photograph for their
parents to treasure. But even more than that, an image for
that child to look back on when they are grown. A reminder
of the sweet innocence childhood held for them. Perhaps
they will remember that while life's stresses seem sometimes
overwhelming, that joyful child is still deep inside. My
time with these children is a gift and they amaze me. My
own children fill my heart with love everyday as I watch them
grow and explore their world, alive with potential and promise.
